This NAMI Yakima Support Group meeting aims to gather our trained Support Group
facilitators to discuss strategies for implementing and enhancing support group offerings within
the Yakima community. A key priority will be placed on reinvigorating in-person Family Support
Groups, fostering a nurturing environment where individuals and their loved ones can share
their experiences, access resources, and find solace among others navigating similar journeys.
Through collaborative dialogue, we will explore innovative approaches to ensure our support
groups provide a safe, inclusive space for meaningful connections and mutual understanding.
