Your NAMI Yakima membership includes NAMI membership at the state and national levels. Membership brings you mental health news, including research and treatment updates, and adds your voice to our campaigns to help improve the lives of those with mental illness. When we advocate on the behalf of your loved ones with mental illness, our membership numbers tell the community at large, including our lawmakers, that mental health matters.
Please do your part to support our mission today. For more information about NAMI membership, please call our office at (509)453-8229 or click the link below to join now. Thank you for your support and your voice!
Volunteering at NAMI Yakima is both fun and rewarding! There are opportunities to work alone, in groups, in an office environment, or out in the community. Our volunteers preform a wide variety of tasks, as they are the backbone of our organization. NAMI Yakima volunteers also form a special bond with each other, making them a community that not only supports the organization, but each other.
NAMI Washington offers volunteer training for the NAMI Signature Programs. The training schedule and applications can be found on the NAMI Washington website here.
If you are interested in learning where your special skills and interests could be used, and would like to make a difference in a population that has been underserved for far too long, call (509)453-8229.

NAMI Yakima is a grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for those who live with illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression. Whether you give $5 or $5,000, every dollar counts!
We provide education programs, support groups, referrals, and other resources in the Yakima area. Your support means we can continue our efforts to fight the stigma and break down barriers to access for people seeking the support they need. Your contributions will ensure no individual or family is alone on their mental health journey and we can keep offering free mental health services in the community!
