The NAMIWalks Washington challenge is our largest fundraiser each year. Funds raised through this event make it possible for us to offer mental health support groups, resources, and advocacy for our Yakima Valley communities. This year, with the pandemic, we can’t join others in the mental health community for the annual walk in Kent, so we’re inviting you to join us to walk “Your Way.” Pick any healthy activity you like and encourage others to contribute toward your goal. Start a jump rope challenge. Gather for family yoga nights. Chase your dog around the park. Turn your minutes into money for mental health!
All NAMI groups, classes, and presentations are free of charge and led by trained volunteers. Through your contributions, people seeking support or information on how to better manage a mental health challenge in themself or a loved one are not alone. Please join our team or support another local team, start your own team, make a donation, or share our posts and spread the word so we can continue to make these service available in our community.
Register to allocate your fundraising dollars to NAMI Yakima. As a team member, the funds you raise go toward supporting NAMI Yakima's programs, education, and advocacy for persons affected by mental illness, their families, friends, and the community.
